The NY Giants lead the Philadelphia Eagkles, 17-12, and they're running out the clock for a big upset. Then it happens; instead of taking a knee to finish the game, the Giants call a running play. QB Joe Pisarcik turns to hand the ball to RB Larry Csonka who apparently didn't get the message. The ball bounces to (yes that) Herman Edwards and the Eagles win, 19-17. No Giant fan (even those not yet born) will forget that day and that play. One great sidenote. When the Eagles went to the Super... Bowl following the 1980 season, their backup QB was none other than Joe Pisarcik.more>>

Thanks to www.giantskickoff.com. Each team's highlights accompanied by radio calls by the team making the highlight play. Very cool way of doing it. Of course, for this game, the Saints highlights had it all over the Giants highlights, 48-27.

It was a wonderful Sunday afternoon in New Orleans: QB Drew Brees went 23-for-30 and threw 369 yards for 4 TDs; and his teammates: RB Mike Bell, TE Jeremy Shockey, WR Robert Meachem, WR Lance Moore, RB Reggie Bush, WR Marques Colston, and FB Heath Evans all found their way into the end zone.

Back in 2008, TE Jeremy Shockey vowed to get revenge against the Giants if they ever traded him. A month before the Giants did just that Shockey told kid reporters: "If I ever get a chance to play against a team that did trade me, it's not going to be a pretty sight." Well he will get his chance on Sunday when NY and NO go at it.

There was no stopping the NY Giants when the Oakland Raiders came to town. Not even Eli Manning's foot injury did anything to slow the Giants down. Highlights by giantskickoff.com.

Opening night at the Cowboys new $1.15 billion stadium, had a crowd of more than 105,000 people. Some 30,000 of those came as standees. And what they saw was, well, the guy next to you. The game, see that's the thing on TV screens--free at home and with a seat. For those who missed it: Giants 33, Cowboys 31.

After making a barely audible apologetic address to the court and saying a tearful goodbye to his family, the former Giants wide receiver surrendered to deputies and will be taken later today to Rikers Island. He will likely serve only 20 months with time off for good behavior.
