Plaxico Burress in Handcuffs Leaves the One Seven
FanDome's Best of the Day
Giants receiver Plaxico Burress is in handcuffs as he is led out of the Manhattan's 17th Precinct on Monday Dec. 1 after about 5 hours of processing on gun charges. Have hope Giant fans: at least he... wasn't limping after plugging himself in the right thigh early Saturday morning. Considering he had pulled the hammy in that leg and was missing the Redskins game anyway, all of this counts as good news, don't ya think?
Burress, who arrived at the one seven in a big black SUV at 8 AM, left for Central Booking downtown in a down-size police sedan as seen in this exclusive FanDome.com video. Waiting for him there is a real-life Jack McCoy and a judge to hear his plea of not guilty.
For one player to do so little all season and cause so much attention is remarkable. Somewhere TO must be thinking that Plax is singing from his song sheet. And maybe Michael Irvin is learning that the young 'uns have learned their lessons well. But for Giant fans standing in the cold on East 51st Street, the comments ranged from 'we love you' to 'you're an idiot' to, for some reason, 'black power!' Anyone think that Plax is heading in the right direction let your comments speak now.more>>

see I'm thinking that the release might be part of a plea deal. Get him the hell out of NY and they can ease up on the charges in NYC
I wonder if his release by the Giants will have an effect on his case.
revisiting this video is to weep at the end of the Giants season that night in the night club.
Neil: Captivating inquiry re sweatpants at the bar. Maybe he should have just worn ski pants and a blazer.
wearing sweatpants to the bar is the universal indicator that you have given up. so then what is wearing sweatpants to the bar and shooting yourself in the leg??
Is this a rhetorical question?
okay okay TwAzCats, tight Euro jeans might have prevented this whole fiasco, fine. It's worth pointing out here that Plax is supposedly 6'5" but he's not exactly towering over those presumably regular sized cops.
the cover up always plays worse than the crime I agree and let's remember that sweatpants are the best clothing in the world that aint ever hurt anyone. Plax is just a moron for bringing the gun and that's that.
that was awesome
And the gun was in his pants for what reason?
By trying to cover it all up, Plax & Co. definitely made this much worse. The lesson of Richard Nixon: the coverup is usually worse than the crime. Now the Mayor is on fire about this and Plax is going to pay somehow. He earned it.
